The Preval Sprayer is superior to a standard aerosol paint can as you can fill the exact amount of paint in it as you wish.  Further, you can add in hardeners, accelerators, catalysts to create 2 component spray paints inexpensively.  The Sprayer also sprays and atomizes paints like a commercial grade Spray Gun.  When paints sit in standard aerosol cans they can become adultered while mixing with the solvents and propellants, wheras in a Preval Sprayer the paint and the propellant never mix in their liquid state.
