Preval is known throughout the world for the Preval Sprayer, its professional-grade aerosol system that provides an affordable, portable and precise alternative to compressor-dependent spray guns. The Sprayer is powered like a traditional aerosol can but provides the professional results of a traditional spray gun. Due to its portability and affordability, the Sprayer has become a touch-up staple in industries from auto, nautical and aviation repair to furniture-making and crafting.
Preval also recently added the vFan Portable Airbrush System to its product line. Like the Preval Sprayer, the vFan Airbrush is able to deliver professional results, including hairline detail and fan patterns, at a fraction of the cost and effort of competitors' airbrush and spray systems.
"Turkey is a growing and exciting market, and our Preval Sprayer has been in high demand there for years," said Preval President Sam Averbuch. "We are thrilled to be able to join forces with Befa Boya Kimya to provide our customers in Turkey with better access to our products and gain additional exposure for our ever-expanding product line."
The partnership was forged when Befa Boya Kimya President Fatih Suleyman Onses saw a demonstration of Preval products at a trade show. Impressed with their easy-to-use design, wide range of applications and competitive pricing, Onses believed Preval's products were a perfect fit for the market in Turkey. After testing samples and receiving positive feedback from market experts, Onses eagerly signed on as Preval's exclusive distributor in Turkey.
Preval has made significant investments in bringing its products to the international marketplace in the last 18 months, adding master distributor agreements in Ireland, Israel and the Philippines in addition to Turkey. With loyal customers from across the globe, Preval is actively seeking distributors in many other countries as well. Paul Roche, Preval's vice president of sales for international markets, said global accounts are central to Preval's long-term growth strategy.
"We already have a distribution channel for many of our paint products, and adding Preval's products to the line-up will help us reach our sales goals and achieve growth," Onses said. "It also will give us the ability to offer a wider range of products to our customers."

PRNewswire - August 24, 2011
Preval has announced an expansion in global sales and distribution of its products through an agreement reached with Shachamorov Import and Marketing Ltd., based in Rosh Haayin, Israel.
Preval manufactures the professional-grade Sprayer, a unique product that provides an affordable, portable and precise alternative to compressor-dependent spray guns. It also recently added the vFan Portable Airbrush System to its product line. Like the Sprayer, the vFan Airbrush is able to deliver professional results, including hairline detail and fan patterns, at a fraction of the cost and effort of competitors’ airbrush and spray systems.
Preval has made significant investments in bringing its products to the international marketplace in the last 18 months, adding foreign-country master distributor agreements in Turkey and the Phillipines in addition to Israel. It is actively seeking distributors in many other countries. Paul Roche, Preval’s vice president of sales for international markets, said global accounts are central to Preval’s long-term growth strategy.
Schachamorov is involved in manufacturing, marketing, importing and distribution of paints and chemicals. Under the terms of the agreement, Schachamorov will be the exclusive distributor of Preval products in Israel.
“The Preval Sprayer is small and light and you don't need a compressor to use it, so it is very mobile. It also has less overspray and is more accurate than traditional spray guns,” said Efi Schachamorov, the company’s general manager. “We sell to furniture-making stores, and our customer base has a need for a mobile device that can handle jobs that typically require large machinery.”

Chicago-based company known for innovative aerosol technology adds high-tech portable airbrush to family of products.
Chicago, Ill. (PRWEB) September 16, 2011
Loyal devotees of the patented Preval Sprayer are in for a big treat. Preval, a division of Chicago Aerosol, has put its innovative technology back to work in a series of new products that launched this week.
The new, patent-pending vFan Portable Airbrush System harnesses the same inventiveness behind the Preval Sprayer, which has drawn millions of users worldwide. The vFan Portable Airbrush System utilizes its own innovative, eco-friendly aerosol technology to deliver portable, professional-grade spray results at a fraction of the cost of other comparable spray systems. The system includes multiple tip attachments, which can be swapped out to achieve a variety of spray effects. From fan spray patterns to hairline details, the vFan Airbrush delivers incredible atomized results.
Perfect for the automotive, marine and paint industries, the vFan Airbrush is half the size and weight of its competitors. Perfectly suited for latex, clear-coat, water-based or solvent-based paints, coatings and stains, the vFan Airbrush achieves a superior, even finish with very little overspray. Built from stainless steel, brass and solvent-proof coatings, the durability of the vFan Airbrush is far superior to market alternatives, most which are manufactured in China.
The vFan Airbrush, like all of Preval’s products, is made in the United States, something the company’s President, Sam Averbuch, says is consistent with the company’s core values.
“People have asked why we are investing in new product development during a down economy,” Averbuch said. “The popularity of the Preval Sprayer has given us the opportunity to carry on America’s great tradition of ingenuity. We want to grow our business now more than ever, in the hope that we can create new opportunities in our local and national economies and stimulate demand for American-made products.”
While the vFan Airbrush is compatible with most workshop compressors, its optimal power source is the portable, aerosol-based compressor called 150 Feet of ENERGY, which comes with the vFan Airbrush System and is also sold separately. Another exciting new product powered by Preval, 150 Feet of ENERGY is virtually silent and perfect in situations where a traditional compressor is impossible to use because of its size, noise or lack of a power source. The units come with a dusting tip and extension wand that make easy work of cleaning sanding debris as well as a drying tip that can be attached to the unit to speed curing times for certain paint applications.
Preval also introduced a 6-pack of touch-up jars for use with the Preval Sprayer and the vFan Airbrush. Made of solvent-proof polypropylene plastic, the touch-up jars are shatter-proof and meet regulations set forth by the EPA 6H rule. The jars come with six dip tubes, six screw-on storage lids and six peel-away labels.

May 2, 2011, Wausau, WI – Chris Wimmer showed what he’s made of Sunday at Madison International Speedway for the ASA Midwest Tour opener. Forced to use a provisional to start the Joe Shear Classic 136, Wimmer began the race from the 25th position, but drove his Preval Chevy towards the front for a seventh place finish. “The day just didn’t go how I hoped,” says Chris Wimmer, “But I knew if we could just get in the race it was a long 136 laps and I would get the chance to pick up some spots. The car was actually pretty good in the race and to end the day with a top-ten was a big boost considering how things started.”
Wimmer timed in 25th for the ASAMT opening event and encountered some contact in the last chance qualifier, but with his runner-up finish on the Tour last year, was all but guaranteed a starting position in the Joe Shear Classic. “You hate to have to fall back on a provisional, especially this year in the season,” says Wimmer, “But it’s all about being in the race, you never know what can happen. After the contact in the last chance race, it was best just to stay out of trouble and get in to the show.”
The Preval Chevy started the 136-lap event from the 25th position and just two laps in to the race, Wimmer found himself in some trouble. The #52 tried to make a pass on Thor Anderson, but ended up in the infield grass. “I’m not exactly sure what happened,” says Wimmer, “I was on the inside of the #4 and next thing I knew I was spinning. I brought the car in to the guys and didn’t have any damage, so we got right back out there.”
Once back on track the next 30-laps were nothing short of interesting. Filled with cautions, Wimmer managed to keep the Preval #52 out of trouble and began to work his way to the front. With the 100-lap break approaching Wimmer found himself holding steady in the seventh position. “I was surprised at the amount of cautions in the first 50 laps,” says Wimmer, “It was almost a blessing to be towards the back because I was able to keep the car clean. When things settled down I was able to get past a few cars and work my way in to the top ten.”
Just a few minor adjustments were made to the Preval Chevy during the 10 minute break and Wimmer held on to that seventh spot as the checkers flew. “The car just got a little too tight during those final 36 laps,” said Wimmer, “I might have been able to pick off a few more cars if I would have freed it up a bit, but I am definitely happy with a seventh place finish, especially with how the day started.”
Next up for Wimmer and the Preval Chevy is the SCAG Power Equipment Dixie Land 100 at Wisconsin International Raceway on Sunday, May 15th. A practice day is held on Saturday with racing set to start at 2pm on Sunday. For more information on the Dixie Land 100 please log on to www.asamidwesttour.com. Also, please follow Chris Wimmer all season and the Preval Chevy on Facebook – www.facebook.com/chriswimmerracing and Twitter - @CWimmerRacing. For more information on Preval visit www.preval.com.
We are so excited for the powerboat competition season to begin. Our sponsored partner, DEO Motorsports, hauled their boat from Stratford, Ontario, to Port Neches, Texas, this past week to compete in the Port Neches Riverfest starting tomorrow.
This is the second season we have sponsored DEO Motorsports’ father-and-son team, Eric and Dan Orchard. The Orchards are huge Preval fans and credit our product with giving them an enormous advantage in making on-site repairs and paint touch-ups to the boat, which prominently displays the Preval logo. The Orchards also love to tell people about Preval, and take every opportunity to praise our product to boating enthusiasts ranging from casual holiday boaters to professional race teams at events throughout North America.
As for us, we are just suckers for speed – in our product and our partners – and are rooting for great race results!
Auto racing buffs have plenty of uses for the Preval Sprayer and to help spread the word, Preval has joined forces with Chris Wimmer, who finished runner-up in the ASA Midwest Tour (ASAMT) last year. As Wimmer’s sponsor for the 2011 season, Preval will have a direct avenue for sharing the Preval Sprayer’s capabilities with the racing community. Wimmer already is passionate about Preval. “I’m very excited about this partnership,” he said. “Preval is not only a great fit for me, but also the ASA Midwest Tour. Their product is so versatile almost everyone can benefit from it, and I know I will use it in my race shop.” With high hopes for the 2011 season, Wimmer plans on putting the Preval Chevy in Victory Lane. The ASA Midwest Tour kicks off the 2011 season with the Joe Shear Classic Sunday, May 1st at Madison International Speedway. Wimmer earned two top-ten finishes at MIS last year and found victory lane there in 2009. Qualifying begins at 12:45pm Sunday with racing set to start at 2pm.
The Preval name crossed the finish line at last weekend’s Scotts EZ Seed 300 NASCAR Nationwide Series event at Bristol Motor Speedway in Bristol, Tennessee.
As a sponsor of the No. 40 Key Motorsports Chevrolet with veteran driver Scott Wimmer behind the wheel, Preval became even more visible to some of its biggest fans – auto enthusiasts who have numerous uses for the Preval Spray Gun, including paint touch-ups, cleaning and maintenance.
Key Motorsports Owner Curtis Key said: “We appreciate Preval coming on board for Bristol this weekend. Preval is a leader in their field and everyone on the team is excited to have the opportunity to represent Preval to NASCAR Nationwide Series fans."
About 18,000 spectators were at the race, and Wimmer finished 22nd.
"This was an exciting opportunity for Preval,” said Preval President Sam Averbuch. “The Preval Spray Gun is about speed, power and precision – just like the Key Motorsports Chevrolet."
