I like to find neat, new ideas for garden decor. Doing something new and creative is always fun. It also helps keep your backyard from looking stale and cookie cutter like everyone else's gardens. I like to look for new ideas online. Today I came across this cute project on the Michaels website. Taken the idea, I decided to incorporate my trusty Preval to lower the time.

Materials needed:
- 4" Terra Cotta Pot
- 4" Terra Cotta Saucer
- Ball Bead
- Craft Paints - Blue, White, Red, and Black
- Preval Sprayer with 3 reservoirs for convenience
- large round sponge brush
- Smaller round sponge brush
- Palette or Plastic Plate
- Water container
- Paper Towels
- 1" Piece of Chenille Stem
- Snow-Tex
What to do:
- Mix 2 parts paint per color with 1 part water in separate Preval reservoirs.
- Attach Prevel power unit and apply blue paint to pot's base, Red paint to saucer and Ball Bead and white paint to rim of saucer. Allow to dry.
- Using a large round sponge brush, apply white paint spots to pot.
- Using the small round brush apply black spots to pot.
- Push small piece of green chenille stem into red ball bead hole and secure with glue.
- Using the palette knife or craft stick apply Snow-Tex on saucer bottom. While wet, position and press red ball bead on center with stem facing up. If you have a small paint brush handy, you can free hand paint "Sweet" on the side of the pot with remaining red paint.
- Allow to dry and then set them outside in your garden, or even keep one inside on your kitchen counter.
Fun, creative looks can easily be achieved with a little bit of digging and elbow grease.
