Father’s Day is just days away, and the amount of time left to buy a gift is dwindling.  As easy as it is to go to the store and pick out a gift, or even order something online, it isn’t always very personal.  This Father’s Day show your dad how much really care by making him a homemade scrapbook Father’s Day card using Preval.

I know what you’re thinking, a scrap book card?  But with a limited number of days before Father’s Day this is a fast, thoughtful solution.  Making an entire scrap book can be a long process, and sometimes you can’t always get out everything you want in a card.  Combining both allows you to show your dad how much he means to you, and how much his interests mean to you as well.

For your scrap book Father’s Day card, use poster board so it’s large enough to fit a message and other things that remind you of your dad.  These things can be articles about his favorite sports teams, photos, maybe even a piece of his favorite old t-shirt.  Anything you see that you can put on a poster board is fair game.  Once you gather everything together you want to use, then it’s time to get your creative juices flowing!  Here are some of the ways that the Preval Spray System can help you assemble your scrap book card:

•    Put 1 part Elmer’s craft glue in your Preval spray gun with 1 part water for an inexpensive scrapbooking spray medium to adhere any photos, newspaper clippings, or trinkets.  This way it comes out in a smooth layer rather than clumps.

•    If you do glue on any newspaper clippings or printed articles, you can use Preval to spray them with Spectrafix which will prevent them from turning yellow over the years. 

•    You could even use Preval to spray a design on the background of your card.  If you’re using a white poster board, Preval will allow you to spray paint it to make everything on it pop.
