Preval Gives you Better Under-the-Sink Storage!

Ever have issues with keeping the area under your bathroom sink organized? I know I do! I have limited space for my guest bathroom and I like to keep my cabinets super neat and tidy. So I wanted to do something that made under the sink much nicer looking and have a compartment for everything!

With some simple carpentry, scrapbook paper, paint and my Preval Sprayer, I was able to make an organized cabinet with ease!

Materials needed:

  • 2 Preval Sprayers
  • Latex Paint
  • Scrapbook paper of your choice
  • Wood glue
  • Craft glue
  • Drill gun
  • Screws
  • Pre-cut wood pieces, based on your cabinet specific measurements.

What to do:

  1. Measure out where your drill holes will go on the cabinet door and on the shelves for the compartment arms.
  2. Using a drill bit, drill your holes about 1/2" deep.
  3. Apply wood glue to the inside edge of the compartment arms then line up and screw the arms into place on the shelves and cabinet door. Do the same for the front and bottom of compartments
  4. Mix your latex paint with latex thinner (about 2:1 paint to thinner ratio) in your reservoir.
  5. Attach the Power unit and prime the dip tube and nozzle.
  6. Spray evenly along shelves, door and compartment arms.
  7. With your second Preval Sprayer, mix 2 parts craft glue with 1 part water in your second reservoir.
  8. Attach Power unit to the reservoir and prime the dip tube and nozzle.
  9. Spray the back of the scrapbook paper.
  10. Apply the paper to the back of the cabinet and to the front pieces of the compartments.

I like to allow for at least 24 hours to go by to ensure that the pair is completely dry before putting everything in their place. Your end product should look like this:
