Make Your Own Deer Spray with Some Help From Preval

I've read about folks using the Preval Spray Gun to spray liquids designed to attract deer, elk, buffalo for hunting - But, here I am not hunting.

One of the great advantages to living in a rural area is being able to observe nature in your own backyard.  While it may be a beautiful sight, sometimes nature’s creatures, who share your habitat, often wander their way onto your property.  In particular deer seem to be one of larger wild animals who sometimes pop up in people’s backyards.  Instead of putting up a fence to protect your trees and plants, try using your Preval Sprayer System along with a homemade remedy.

Keeping deer away may seem like a task for Paul Bunyan, but you would be surprised to find that some of the items found in your very own kitchen can easily do the trick.  For example, try combining 1 egg with a ¼ cup of water.  Mix them together well, and then pour the mixture into your Preval reservoir and spray it on your trees and plants.

If that doesn’t do the trick, then you can take the same recipe but step it up a notch.  All you need to do is add 1 cup of whole milk, another egg, 2 tablespoons of canola oil, and 2 tablespoons of liquid soap to 2 gallons of water.  Fill your Preval reservoir with some of the mixture and spray it on any foliage.

For another option, you could add 4 large eggs with a gallon of water.  Let the mixture stand for an hour, and then fill your Preval reservoir with a portion of the mixture and the spray away!

If you find yourself with deer in your backyard, don’t spend a ton of money on putting up a fence.  Instead, take a look in your kitchen and combine a few ingredients in your Preval reservoir!  Do you know of some other ways that Preval can help keep deer out of your yard?  All you have to do is send in your pictures or video that show what you made and how you made it with Preval, and you could win a trip for two to Las Vegas!  Look for details on Preval’s Home Page, under the NEWS section.
