Fall leaves bring Festive Weaths.

Fall is just around the corner, as much as none of us want to admit it, but I like to take this time, when I have a breather, to get a jump start on my Autumn decor. I love creating arrangements for the Dining Room table as well as wreaths for my front door! My own, so I don't have the same thing as everyone else on the block.

Here is what I use:

  • Foam ring from area craft store
  • faux autumn leaves, plastic berries, etc. (like to use faux because then they don't go bad and they can last for more than the Fall season)
  • Craft Glue
  • Glitter
  • paint

What I like to do:

  • I like to use my craft glue in my Preval to spray some of the leaves and berries with craft glue and apply glitter to them.
  • Fill Preval reservoir with craft glue and water to thin (2:1 Glue to Water ratio)
  • Shake reservoir to mix, with cap on.
  • Apply Preval power unit to reservoir
  • Spray glue water mixture on tips of leaves and berries.
  • Dip tips of leaves and berries into glitter, or if the glitter is in a shaker, shake glitter over the wet glue.
  • Allow to dry.
  • Starting at one point in the foam ring, begin sticking leaves and berries into the foam in a diagonal row and work clockwise to complete ring.

I love making my own wreaths and centerpieces because then they are that much more special to me. I also enjoy giving them as gifts to my friends!
